Bitmine Expands Ethereum Treasury to 5.78 Million ETH, Repurchases Shares
Bitmine Immersion Technologies has expanded its Ethereum treasury to 5,777,468 ETH. This development maintains Bitmine's position as the largest corporate Ether holder globally and the second-largest corporate digital asset treasury overall, following Strategy. The current valuation of this Ether treasury is approximately $10.8 billion.
This figure represents an increase of 7,430 ETH over the past week, bringing Bitmine to 96% of its stated “alchemy of 5%” target, which aims to hold 5% of Ether's total supply of 120.7 million tokens. In addition to its Ether holdings, Bitmine also reported owning 207 Bitcoin, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, a $58 million stake in Eightco Holdings, and $385 million in cash and marketable securities.
The company also repurchased 5.5 million common shares during the past week at an average price of $15.6156. This repurchase was conducted under its previously authorized $4 billion share repurchase program. The company's chairman indicated that the reduced pace of Ether acquisitions reflected these share repurchases. He also noted that Bitmine has consistently acquired ETH weekly since the inception of its ETH Treasury Strategy on June 30, 2025.
Staking Operations and Revenue
Approximately 4.92 million ETH, or 85% of Bitmine's total holdings, are currently staked through its MAVAN validator platform and its staking partners. The company reported a 2.67% seven-day annualized yield from its staking operations, with projected annualized staking revenue of about $247 million. This revenue is expected to increase to approximately $290 million once the entire ETH treasury is staked.
Ethereum staking has become Bitmine's primary operational focus. The company's financial report for the quarter ending May 31 revealed that staking and validation activities generated $45.7 million, constituting 98% of its total quarterly revenue of $46.5 million.
