Strive Adds $143 Million in Bitcoin, Total Holdings Reach $1.76 Billion

Strive has increased its Bitcoin holdings with an additional acquisition of 1,800 BTC, valued at approximately $143 million. This latest purchase brings the firm's total Bitcoin treasury to 23,156 BTC, with a reported value of around $1.76 billion. The CEO of Strive, Matt Cole, stated that the average price paid for this tranche was $79,431 per coin. This move aligns with Strive's ongoing strategy of aggressive Bitcoin accumulation. The company trades on Nasdaq under the ticker ASST, following its merger with Asset Entities earlier this year. Strive previously added $81 million in Bitcoin in conjunction with a share sale.

This acquisition by Strive occurs amidst a broader trend of renewed buying activity within the cryptocurrency sector. Other firms with similar treasury strategies have also made significant purchases. Strategy, for instance, ended a two-month hiatus with a $370 million Bitcoin acquisition, its first since June. Similarly, Bitmine executed its largest Ethereum purchase since June, indicating a renewed accumulation phase among treasury firms as crypto asset prices have recovered.

Bitcoin‘s market performance has shown a rally, trading at approximately $78,600. The asset is poised to conclude August with a gain exceeding 24%, marking its most substantial monthly increase since 2017. Strive's average purchase price for its recent Bitcoin acquisition is slightly above current market levels.
